 Jail Inspection Passed

On Friday, March 5, the Texas Jail Standards Inspector George Johnson made his yearly unannounced inspection of the Goliad County Jail. Spending about three hours in the jail facility inspecting the inmate records, cells, controls in the control room, kitchen, and every inch of the jail facility, Mr. Johnson passed the jail without deficiencies. Judge Harold Gleinser and court liaison Commissioner Jim Kreneck were notified of the inspector’s visit. Judge Gleinser was able to join the inspection at the jail.

Sheriff Kirby Brumby gave the credit of passing the jail inspection to his dedicated and hard-working jail staff. He thanks and congratulates Jail Administrator Gary Diaz, Jail Sergeant Debbie Rios, and the other full and part-time jailers.
