NOTICE OF PUBLIC AUCTION
The City of Goliad and the Goliad County Sheriff’s Office will jointly conduct a public auction of salvage and surplus property at the City of Goliad Maintenance Warehouse 617 S. Burke St. beginning at 8:00 am on Saturday, April 17, 2010. Items offered may be viewed prior to the sale on Thursday, April 15th from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm and on Friday, April 16th from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Items include Plumbing supplies, furniture, electronics, tools, office equipment and more.
Sealed bids will be accepted on each item prior to start of the public auction. Sealed bids will be opened prior to the start of the auction and will become the base bid for the auction. Sealed bids must include bidders name, address, contact information and identify the item bid upon. If no auction bid is received, the item will be sold for the amount of the sealed bid. Live bidders must complete a Bidder’s information sheet prior to the auction. All items must be removed from the area on the day of the auction unless prior arrangements have been made. ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND GOODS PURCHASED ARE PURCHASED ON AN “AS-IS, WHERE IS” BASIS. Neither the City nor the Goliad County Sherriff’s Office offer any warranty stated or implied on items sold.
