Since 1994, the Goliad County Sheriff's Office has provided monthly training for any and all peace officers wanting to further their education through TCLEOSE.

Training sessions are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:00pm at the Goliad Housing Authority meeting room and last from 1 hour to 4 hours.  Several times each year, there may be training sessions that last all day.  Check back with this site or go to www.coastalbendpeaceofficers.com for updated training.  To reserve a spot, contact Chief Deputy Bill Schaefer at 361-645-3451, ext. 113 or email him at training@coastalbendpeaceofficers.com .

Training for December: 

12-02-08—The Goliad County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting “Special Investigative Topics.”  This is training for all peace officers.  All attendees will be awarded TCLEOSE credit upon successful completion.  This course is one that is legislatively mandated by TCLEOSE and is open to all officers.
